Siobhan & Andy

When I saw the location of this wedding I immediately wanted to go and explore the area. Siobhan and Andy got married in Dingle in County Kerry - I mean who wouldn't want to go to a place called Dingle? It also looks amazing.

The brief for this stationery suite was to include music, spring and leaves and a colour scheme of green, white and rose gold. So I dusted off my colouring pencils and my watercolour paints and went hunting for interesting leaves for inspiration. Luckily I live in leafy West Sussex not far from the Ashdown Forest (of Winnie the Pooh fame) so I had plenty to be inspired by. I'd also been itching to try out some foiling on invitations, so when Siobhan mentioned rose gold I knew some copper foiling would contrast beautifully with the leafy natural design.

With the couple living in London and getting married in Ireland, it meant there was a fabulous amount of information to be shared about flights, accommodation and things to do if people made a short break out of attending the wedding. It was a lovely suite to design - with the all important information sheet, table plan and place names all coordinating beautifully under the same design. But I'll let the couple tell you themselves how they felt about their stationery.

"Working with Debs for our wedding stationery was wonderful! She is incredibly talented, creative and organised which made the whole experience completely stress free and actually enjoyable ( which can not be said for a lot of wedding planning tasks 🤣). Her designs for our invites, table plans, order of service etc were truly beautiful and we received so many compliments praising the invites in particular as the most beautiful people had seen. Nothing was too much trouble and she kept us informed on progress and printing options along with (very much appreciated) recommendations throughout. I cannot recommend The Dimpse highly enough, if you work with her you won't regret it! Thanks so much for everything Debs x"
